In moderation, I don't think religion is bad, but in fundamental circles, it can be dangerous.
If they have a stable secular government to keep their fundamental proclivities in check, Muslims, Jews, Christians, whatever can all make good citizens.
Its never moderate. Moderate ones fade on their own. See the mainline Protestant denominations

You are holding your hat out for the civilians...yes it sucks...but the same law you are demonstrating has the single exception that if it can be used for military purpose it is fair game.

But go ahead...find me a source ...any source ...that states one side of a conflict is supposed to supply the other side for free with materials that can be used against them in war.
How as a Christian can you just throw out the Old Testament? It's Jesus' old man for crying out loud. Bible is riddled with violence.

BTW...the UN is saying it as well.

I would ask for first and last month's in advance....just like any other company in the US would do.
And yes, water is a war material. I do not know of any human that can survive with out water....and by providing that Israel would be providing a basic necessity of survival to Hamas.
I would go to any other source than the UN for what is right. The only thing the UN has proven in recent history is that they are the worse sort of leadership the world has ever seen.
Can we agree that Israel does not have to provide electricity to Hamas?
UN should be setup to airlift supplies into the city. Should be moving pronto. And should have plenty of countries contributing.

I heard his interview on CNN and was moved to tears. He’s correct in his opinion, but it’s absolutely heartbreaking.
Good chance they wait till Israel is knee deep in Gaza. Then go full bore....i'm sure Israel is cognizant of that.
Keep enough forces in the north and rely on air power to hold them off while they take care of Hamas...they're going to be stretched if Hezbollah does go all out....they're the most dangerous of the two.

The air craft carrier group is going to help deter. They try to invade or launch missiles and O predict we will be seeing some major US air power helping out making a death zone for the northern invaders.

How do you conduct an invasion of Gaza? Are they going after arms stashes and suspected HQs and then withdraw?
Or are they going to occupy for the long haul, like we did in Iraq and Afghanistan, and fight constant battles here and there?
