Me, too. He did have that 80-or-so-yard TD run, but otherwise, our DB’s harassed him all day. Something like 3 or 4 picks. Humbling game for Ben, for sure.

Great 2nd half thus far. The 1-2 punch of our RB is going to be key this year. Stanley will get better and the WR/TE will get better as well. Just needed to get some live action.
Wonder what the hell happened with Jones. I know he was lost but the Kirk quote was all positions are up for grabs except MLB. Weird.
Extremely relieved that Iowa is generating a run game against a quality DL. Bodes well I think.

DBs of NIU aren't exactly fighting each other for the chance to come up and hit IKM....but they want absolutely NOTHING to do with Toren Young.

Hoping he just had some jitters. It happens. He’s obviously shown in practice he has what it takes to start. Sometimes it takes a couple of games for a guy to get it going. Maybe that’s the case here.
