Based on my prediction accuracy...Davidson will kill Iowa tomorrow
Lol at Iowa State fans. Go crawl in a hole now regardless what happens in our game. Your style of play lends itself to this happening. Win games that don't matter in the regular season.....lose historically to lesser teams in the tournament because your style and play is f***ing careless. Deal with it.
I'm curious as to how many ISU lurkers are going to be hanging around HR now? This reminds me of Iowa's choke against Northwestern St. Now the clowns know our pain! My biggest complaint is that I had ISU going to the Final Four. They have way too much talent to lose this game and yet they still figured out a way. Good job, Cy!

ISU joins Duke, Arizona, Georgetown, South Carolina, and Missouri as the only teams since the field expanded to 64 to lose as both a 2 and a 3 seed.

We already knew the pain from the Hampton loss. But this is a brutal loss. I hate sports. The lows definitely are not worth the highs. You just knew with the way they were playing so hot and cold that this was a possibility. It sucks having the tournament be over only two games into the opening round. Good luck to the hawks and panthers, hopefully they do better than the cyclones did.
I still think the WAY Iowa lost against Northwestern St. was a real heart wrencher. A fade away three pointer at the buzzer. That doesn't happen to many teams.
Can't help but think they were worried about that possible Sweet 16 game lurking down the road with a team they wanted no part of again. Imagine the final score of this game if UAB had hit even 33% of their 3's.
The scariest part for ISU fans is that UAB didnt play well. They can't use the whole "they played the game of their life" deal because it was nothing close to that.. UAB might lose by 20-25 on Saturday
Yeah, it looked like a classic "Let's show up, win the first one and then get ready for a deep run" bit of over confidence. To me, it never looked like ISU was taking UAB seriously. It seemed as though they thought that they would pull away at any minute. Well, the minutes got away from them and now it's a LOOOONG trip home.
Ballgame right there. UAB was horrible from 3 but got about 12 second chance points off O-boards.
Georgia St. may bring this tournament to it's knees if they beat Baylor. Two 3 seeds going down the same day?

Well Iowa State also has the historic 2-seed loss to Hampton, but this works too. Lol
I'm mad but happy at the same time. This is a huge blow for a lot of people's brackets, but hey it's always fun to watch the Cyclone fans squirm.

These games during the day today should've been played in the primetime TV windows. Exciting close games to start the tournament!
