Brock does a decent job of getting into the paint, but too small to finish at the rim against shot blockers.

Best bet IMO for him is to work hard on the mid-range jumper or floater.
Spend time in the gym doing Mikan-like drills from 10-15 ft out, crossing the lane and use the board to bank them in.
Do hundreds of them a day - floating jumpers, deeper scoop shots, etc. Get use to using the glass to get angles around shot blockers

He often gets too deep in and has no place to deliver the ball, but regularly gets himself open in that 10-15' range.

Hitting banks in from various angles outside of 5' would force defenses to collapse faster on help, leading to lots of easier dishes underneath, or kickbacks back out. He is often open once he gets past his defender (10-15') but too easy to block close to the rim.

Would add a much more difficult to defend aspect to his game.

A Mikan drill, but using the glass further from the basket.

Haven't you heard, he's not BIG material and he won't be at Iowa next season as he follows Owen to greener pastures

He's at number 4 in assists at 5.4 per game, which is what you want I your PG. He turns the ball over a bit too much, making uncharacteristic mistakes. Standing there after each turnover and looking confusedly at the bench doesn't inspire confidence in fans. He needs to play a bit more in control and play like the qb of the team. Many people who say he doesn't belong in the B1G are being unfair and unkind to him. The kid is good. And I hope he returns to Iowa next season.
