Our run game looks even better when you play a QB that can be a threat. Granted Sullivan isn’t passing the ball all over but he can run and make plays. The defense isn’t able to focus 100% on the running back every play.
Don’t understand how they kept playing a QB that couldn’t pass or run.

Man even Joe Namath ran the ball pretty well at Alabama, Archie Manning the real Arch Manning was a great runner, as were a ton of QBs. Kirk I also think doesnt want his #1 QB to get hurt. In his controlled world that would make it harder to win

When you can run for over 300 yards on a Wisconsin defense, you keep that QB in until he graduates graduate school. We can't even throw for 300 yards in a game and it's harder to run for 3 bills. It's all because Sully can tuck and run for 30 yards. That shocks defenses are into not crashing the edges

A reason I say better than 50/50 win with Sully at MSU is we also get a more rested and enthused Defense.
