I just don't see ND getting over 14 without a turnovers or special teams. Notre Dame has a defense to keep the game relatively close & is really the only reason they have a chance. I think Ohio State wins 24-10 in a game that isn't as close as the score.

More interested to see who Hawkeye {& Seminole LoL} fans are rooting for

I just gotta pull for the B1G here. And if OSU wins a national title, then it sort of makes Iowa’s loss to them look pretty OK (right?).

fND - I'll never "root for Ohio State", but I'll certainly say fND in this game.

I usually root for OSU when they play michigan. I think that earned me the right to change up and go for ND.

I just want to throw this out there, I'm not predicting anything with this.

But it's been my experience that in championship games when nearly everyone is convinced that one team is far superior to the other team and will easily win. That team actually ends up losing a lot.

By results and everything that I've seen, I actually expect Ohio State to win. But IDK I just have this weird feeling because nearly everyone thinks OSU will win. And when it's that unanimous for a championship game (not like a Alabama is going to beat Mercer) the opposite usually seems to happen.

Small wager on alt line tOSU -12.5

A rather sizeable 3 team ML parlay on tOSU, with Chiefs, Eagles already winning.

I forgot this hadn't happened yet. I'll take OSU. Also, having the college football championship this deep into the NFL playoffs is really stupid. Lots of non-ND/OSU fans have likely checked out.

I will be honest, I almost forgot it was tonight. I am a pretty big college fan, but there is so much going on with the NFL with great games and drama, the college game kind got overshadowed.

They really need to end the playoff by New Years, it would be the perfect day for the title game.

If they are going to play into mid Jan, play the game on the Saturday before the conference championships, or the Friday before the Divisional games; use it as a fun lead into/opening act.

Monday nights aren’t ideal for a social event and neither is Sunday, NFL; move the Super Bowl to the first Saturday of Feb.

They could get close to it or get it done if they cut out the long layoff after the conference championship games, and start the season a week earlier.

of course lots of Buckeye fans are worried about a reverse 2002 Miami game

I believe the favorite has won the last 5 rather easily.
