Old Brian is back. Free Stanley! The run game isn’t going to open up itself

U guys r clueless...he's thrown on 1st twice already...we can't catch the ball, we r in the lead, and we have a frosh QB on the road biggest game of his career so far....u really have no clue about the game.

He played 4 plays last yr, basically a RS Frosh..but im sure he plays better at WI on your Madden video game doesn't he?

3 turnovers. Complaining about poor field position.

Call plays like you want to pick up yards.

Wisconsins safeties haven’t had to defend farther than 8 yards down the field.

Its on the players more than the coaches at this point. Piss poor execution. Although I will say, why haven't we targeted a tight end yet?

The guy (you) who thinks Stanley is a Frosh QB really doesn't have a clue...lol

I don't think we have given Stanley enough time for a tight end to run a 3-yard out.

If u Madden experts didn't see the difference in execution today from last week...ill jst laugh.
Again, 1st yr QB on the road against best team in BIG, with below average blocking, drops everywhere, and missed throws to wide open receivers....well u should go be Bama fans...cause u have no clue.
But its BFs fault, I guess he shouldn't call those plays where we drop, overthrow or dont block ....haha, get back to class and your safe spaces.

LOL..u guys r so clueless...lime u can see the downfield routes on a ck off, or sack. Oh, btw, 2nd qtr, Stanley missed a wide open 87Fant seam route, no1 win 15 yards, jst like the one that scored last week ...thats BFs fault.

Games are won and lost at the line of scrimmage and today we got beat 100 to 0. I also get upset with calls but you can't throw on first down if the QB has 2 seconds of protection. I like our young QB but until he learns not every pass can be thrown on a line he's going to be average.

We threw it on 1st down plenty in 1st half, BF cant help wrs drops. On top of that we were having some success running on 1st down in compairson to the drops.

Stanely has had some exceptional stretches, like the end of ISU and the entire OSU game, but he has some serious limitations. He seems to lock in on the first option and he has very little ability to put any touch on the ball. Generally, teams don't worry about getting beat deep, because he has shown no consistent ability to hit that pass (except against OSU). Stanely has done a great job of not turning the ball over, but some teams have just disrespected his ability to beat them (PSU, Wisconsin, NW). and we had no answers. Part of it is play calling, but much of it is Stanely's inexperience and inability to make adjustments. He will only get better over the next couple of years, but he has been a big reason for why Iowa has looked so bad in certain games.
