Ole Miss/Baylor now Mississippi St issues.....

"Mississippi State said in its official release that the situation involved Simmons trying to break up a fight between his sister and another adult woman."

They had me for a second, until I watched the video!!! I mean if some big momma was whooping on my sister, I'd probably go punch her in the face if she didn't stop.

HOWEVER looks like his sister was the big momma and the other girl was face first on the ground while he pummels her!! What a ****ing joke!! Despicable!

I didn't see a fight being broken up. I saw a huge dude beating the crap out of a woman while she is lying on the ground. How is this dude not in jail?

If kentucky starts winning look for them to be in trouble as well.

Kudos the reporters for their line of questioning. I would have asked if he was not a FB player, would the University still have let him enroll? The answer is of course not.

Guys guys guys, don't worry. He now has "no margin for error." He's been educated about beating the shit out of women on camera. He now knows that only cops are allowed to do that. Next time, he'll be sure to break the camera.

But it's going to be exactly like Baylor and Ole Miss. Wont matter for another 4 years when they are under investigation for multiple incidents and nothing being done to sacrifice it. If I was MSU and did let him enroll, I would force him to sit out a year and enroll in anger management classes and sexual assault classes. Unfortunately, winning is all that matters so if he can help win, brush it under the table. That one game ban against South Alabama will really show him.

Why would he need sexual assault classes ? Sitting out a year, I'm all for it. Anger management classes, make it happen. He didn't sexually assault her, he physically assaulted her.

Because that is normally the next step when it comes to this. Why not just kill 2 birds with one stone and force him to take sexual assault classes as well? I personally don't think he should be allowed to enroll and should spend 5-10 in jail, but football is power and they overlook all that.

Win at all costs ... Make 'em eligible ... and try to keep 'em eligible for a few years before they leave school and end up in prison or back with the boys.

It's sad what some schools are willing to do - all in the name of winning. College football is my favorite sport ... But it's become a business and nothing else.

Tennessee, Baylor, Ole Miss, Miss State, Oregon, Alabama ... coaches and institutions willing to do whatever it takes to protect the product on the field. Miss. State recruit gets enrolled despite video of him stroking a woman ... Why? He's a 5-star recruit. It's about wins on the field, not wins in character. Alabama accepted a kid who Georgia dumped after he was arrested for domestic violence. Again, win at all costs. These coaches don't care about how successful these kids are or aren't off the field. They care about who will help them protect their multi-million coaching salaries. You have Butch Jones at Tennessee possibly involved with a cover up of a sexual assault.

Rising coaching salaries, endorsement deals, and TV contracts are what stops some programs from weeding out the evil. They want their piece of the pie and are willing to do whatever it takes to make sure they are always standing toward the front of the line.

Me too. Jesus, though, he wasn't even fighting her one-on-one! They were double teaming the woman! What the ugly ****!?

Miss St really missed the boat on this one. Make the kid sit out a year as an incoming freshman. He gets to redshirt and you get to make it look like its not about football. Then when he starts next year this will have all blown over unless he does it again, which is likely.
