The knee was down a half yard from the goal line, with the ball not close to the line. That is crap.
Thanks for not showing us the other angle, Fox. Nike $$$

It was a first down anyway...The knee was down a half yard from the goal line, with the ball not close to the line. That is crap.

EXACTLY. He had the ball tucked in, and the right knee was down on the 2 yard line. The ball was nowhere near the goal line. It's where the ball is, not his knee.
Uh, no.EXACTLY. He had the ball tucked in, and the right knee was down on the 2 yard line. The ball was nowhere near the goal line.
Game over.
Just watched it again. Clearly not a TD.Uh, no.
All close TD's get reviewed. All the reviewers are blind too is your claim. Got it.Just watched it again. Clearly not a TD.
Consult your optometrist with your next day off.

I think it was close but there was no angle to show definitively one way or the other so you have to go with the call on the field. I think they handled it the right way.He was on the player, not the ground. By the time any part of his body hit the ground, the ball was breaking the plane. If they had ruled him short, it would have been first down from 6 inches to score and Oregon had 2 TOs left.
Did someone lose some money? You seem angry.
I sometimes wonder if that is really true or just a way of covering their ass if they can’t or don’t make the right call…?Also, keep in mind that the replay officials have camera views and shots that we don't necessarily get shown on TV.
Might be "elementary"....but it happens nearly every game played at the college level....sometimes several times a game.NC lost because their defensive backs have never learned to turn around and find the football when a pass is thrown.
Elementary shit that kids learn at an early age.
