Yeah I'm going to be the old man shouting at the rain and screaming about why we cannot for whatever reason just roll our 10 best guys out there every match... you know, like we did in the 80s and 90s when T&T were wrestling and every time Iowa took the mat we had those top 10 guys. So f*cking stupid that we get maybe 1 or 2 duals a season at full strength with all of our best guys.

Made the drive up from Sacramento area this morning. Really good atmosphere here. Met a few cool people and sitting next to an Iowa wrestler’s mom. Got to watch Terry taunt the OSU crowd. Overall nice experience for the first half of dual. Minus that Rathjen match.

Love Caliendo!! Wish we had 10 guys like him...an engine that doesn't stop and he's always trying to score. I hate these 1 TD matches. The Bull is proof of how bad they can go as that was his NCAA championships outcome more times than not. Alex was so good, but just didn't seal the deal early during his NCAA runs. Ugh!!

We gotta make one of our few blue chippers wrestle up a weight so we can have a 25 year old Nelson Brands go out there and plod for 14 minutes a week.
This all sounds ugly. Not what I hoped for. I know it's the first meet, but it's their first meet too.

If this is how Brands is going to wrestle I don't want any part of it. Bring in Gabe! That brand of wrestling is how you lose in the first round of NCAAs and end up finishing 1-2 or 2-2. I do not want our 174 starter wrestling with that kind of game plan. That sucked!! And I was completely on the Brands' bandwagon but not if that's how he's going to wrestle...

I've wanted Arnold to add an outside step high crotch for 2 years and he hits it in the first 15 seconds of his first match. My man!
Nelson needs to retire from the sport or move up to 184 if Angelo is redshirting. We need either Kennedy or Arnold at 174. Tom's doing his best Ferentz impersonation with his nephew wrestling 174.
Love what Gabe's bringing!! If he is a true 74, I want him and Ferrari. He's coming to score points and that's what we need. I'm so disappointed at how Nelson wrestled that match.
