OSU's most consistent and best interior player, Jae'Sean Tate, is out for the season. Undersized "PF", who is brings a lot of energy to OSU. Still a lot of talent on the team, but his absence is going to make it very difficult for OSU to get any big wins, which they need to get a dance invite.

They've got bigger problems tonight. TV Teddy Valentine, Izzo's personal ref, is doing their game.
Yep what I saw from the OSU MSU game was a very athletic team that if they get hot will give the Hawks all they want. OSU isn't a great defensive team so if we get out early we may be able to keep them at arms length.
Need to get through tonight before we get too concerned with OSU.
I was looking at the box score for the game last night. OSU had 4 assist for the entire game. That is just awful. Having Tate out is big for Iowa. He was one of their most consistent guys this year.
Not only only 4 assists for OSU but my lord, ya gotta cover Forbes Cam Williams or get some help defense too. Cam and OSU was constantly losing track of Forbes off screens and in the O set and allowed him to be open to get hot and knock down those 3s...7-10 3s and 27 friggin points.
Pay attention... 0-7 against Sapp and Iowa......in two games. That is how ya play D against MSU and beat Sparty.
I said this the other day in a thread on this board which Fran validated in his press conference to follow. We got to get back to playing better defense than the last 3 games....defense like what we did against a high caliber player like Forbes.
