In fact, I see that Richard Dent is quoted as saying, 'if I saw a QB showboating like that,
I would make every effort to Knock his a** out of the game, with a clean hit'..

I'm not a Bears fan, but I always liked and respected Richard Dent.

As a Packer backer, I totally agree. Dent was a manimal. Always respected him. Like him even more now, Newton is a d--- with a capital "D". I still think he got paid to play at Auburn.

  • Cam does have nice teeth. What a smile! (Delta Dental should hire him)
  • Hell yes Auburn paid him. H-E-L-L-O..........
  • Yea, he's WAY over the top in showmanship & "LOOK AT ME" behvior
  • But............boy is he fun to watch.
  • If I was Dent I'd feel the same way but this guy is super special. Enjoy the show!!!

Cam Newton is a top tier QB this year along with only Tom Brady. Everyone else is a level below them.

My top 5 so far for 2015:
Tom Brady
Cam Newton
Carson Palmer
Russell Wilson
Aaron Rodgers

I respect and like Dent's opinion but I also respect and like Newton's style...they are mutually exclusive.

I'm guessing Richard Dent would be amazed at how hard it would be to stop Cam. If Can got out of the pocket Dent wouldn't see a 6'2 215lb QB. Cam is just as big as Dent was in his hay day.

Wrong. Any top 5 must include roethlisberger although his injury and missing games is keeping his stats down this year.

Who would you take out?
Good point. He's not a better QB than Rogers but I could make an argument he's having a better 2015 than Rogers (per game). You could argue Rogers is having a better 2015 too though. Just depends which stats you look at. I should have said "disagree", rather than "wrong".

Cam Newton is a hell of a lot bigger than 6'2" and 215. According to Sporting News 2015 Pro Football he is 6'5" and 245.
