Cyclones march down the field for an easy TD on #4 TCU. Instead of letting TCU down a punt at the three, ISU picks it up and returns it 50 yards. ISU is playing MUCH better football than Iowa. The Hawkeyes and KF had better wake up soon. ISU is everything Iowa isn't right now: well-coached, smart, and winning with an entertaining offense featuring receivers who can catch the football.

I have not watched but 7 to 0 end of first. Sounds entertaining to me. Makes me want to buy in and be entertained with some good football.

Gushing over a rival, puke. Go back to your own board clown.
I should

KF isn't waking up from anything. He won the lottery with that contract extension. Everything's gravy for him now. "Cruise control, wake me up when it's time to retire"

Iowa State is going to win this game and I don't think it'll be close. With that said, Kempt, Lanning, Murdock all seniors. Also Lazard a SR.

And we have a history of winning, and being in bowl games, etc..... while isu has been the laughing stock of college football for, well, forever.
You call us clone fans, you appear to be a Nebraska fan - living in the past and in denial.

This is the Big XII. The first three quarters don't matter. It's a lot like the NBA. No lead is insurmountable.

Remember all the smart fans that said we should abolish the series?

Maybe this a good thing for the Hawkeye football program? Maybe when ISU embarasses us at Kinnick on national television, maybe the university will start to care?
If North Dakota State didn’t wake them up nothing will. Fun thought though.

Campbell went for the quick fix by bringing in a bunch of JUCO players, he has taken a page out of Snyders college FB success,
QB Kempt, WR Lazard are both seniors, they have a 5th year SR QB finishing his career who started out as a Walk on.

next year they have Park again unless they find a JUCO to take Kempt place, recruiting didn't get to where they were getting top 10 recruiting classes, talk about leaping off a bridge or the cliff which ever is higher at the time.

I think this is different. This is an in state rival that could take the lead as the number one school in the state. That alone should motivate the higher ups.

I'm pretty sure we beat isu this year, didn't we?
The NW game was disappointing....our other 2 losses were close losses to good teams.

b12 is garbage....tcu doesn't look anything like a top 5 team, they might as well have their cheerleaders out there trying to tackle!

I agree. But for some reason the regime at Iowa is OK with the status quo.

We put up 10 on NW, ISU just put up 14 in the 2nd against a top 5 team. We should get their OC. I’m guessing it’s Campbell’s son, right?

TCU is not a top 5 team based upon the level of suck I am watching from them. Congrats to ISU for taking advantage of bad defense by TCU and an even worse O. That said, TCU O is getting called for holding while ISU is locking up players like it's wrestling season out there and only one call. Ok.

Caught em before they found out they were good! Lol

I think this is actually pretty true. When you have a history of losing, it's contagious and becomes cultural. Once Iowa State won at Oklahoma, it's like the light bulb went on and they realized they could compete against the best teams in the country. The talent is there.
