If ISU wins out, do they go to the playoffs? Jesus.
2 losses though to not very good teamsWell they have a very good resume
Their qb was atrocious in the second half. Poor red zone decisions; a one man turnover machine.Don't know much about TCU or the Big 12 in general, but for a supposed top 5 team they don't have much of a QB. Maybe he's all world against everyone else though.
If we win out we were a top 15 team2 losses though to not very good teams
Ya, early in da season, and beat 2 top 5 teams since then.2 losses though to not very good teams
See all the empty seats in the end zone? Probably the biggest game they've played there and they can fill 'er up on a cold, but sunny day.
ISU's defense has allowed 20 points in the last 14 quarters: 4 quarters against Kansas, yes, but also 4 against Texas Tech and TCU, and 2 quarters against Oklahoma, In addition, 6 of those points came when ISU gave Tech the ball on the 7 yard line (they cored a TD but missed the PAT).On paper, a good win. But no top 5 team's offense is going to get shut out by ISU's defense. It's good, but not the '85 Bears.
The Big XII hasn't been in the CFP for a reason. They've also had the fewest draft picks for a reason.

Texas Tech, Oklahoma and TCU are NOT bad offensive teams.
I don't know What teams are definitely top 5, although I'd be tempted to put Alabama in that category.I conceded your defense is good. I'm just not convinced TCU is/was a top 5 team.
I understand transitive property is rarely a good measure, but a rather anemic Iowa offense scored more than twice as many points on ISU than two top 5 teams combined. I can buy teams getting better as the season goes on, but your defense didn't suddenly open a can of spinach like Popeye...

ISU has almost single-handledly destroyed the chances of the Big XII getting a team in the playoff, and the Pac-12 doesn't have any worthy candidates, either. Alabama is in. Ohio State will get in because it's Ohio State; dittoes for Notre Dame. So the question is who #4 will be.
Is there a quota on how many times you need to post about this each week? Good Lord. Yes, they paid him a bunch of money. Are you concerned that posters here don't know how you feel about the subject? Here, let me help. WE GET IT..........KF isn't waking up from anything. He won the lottery with that contract extension. Everything's gravy for him now. "Cruise control, wake me up when it's time to retire"
Wow! That was comical......
Do you happen to have my stats handy, MR CAPSLOCK? Cuz if not, then even if I did set a quota for myself, you would never know.Is there a quota on how many times you need to post about this each week? Good Lord. Yes, they paid him a bunch of money. Of course, we should all over look OU going into Columbus and thumping The Ohio State University- right?Guys stop with the love fest for ISU. It’s the Big 12, the whole conference sucks.
Sun shines on a dogs behind every once in a while.Of course, we should all over look OU going into Columbus and thumping The Ohio State University- right?
Can't really explain that one can you?Of course, we should all over look OU going into Columbus and thumping The Ohio State University- right?
What is to explain, he has a perspective and I tend not to agree with it. I watched the game and OU totally dominated OSU in Columbus. Can't really explain that one can you?
That bush league play probably won them the game. Instead of throwing a pick on the out route a couple plays later, I'm guessing TCU punches it in from the 3 there.
