I think you have this totally wrong. John Boehner showed incredible strength and courage standing up to the Tea Party and it cost him his job. They (the tea party) weren't able to get anything through Congress. This is coming from a democrat who doesn't care for John Boehner but what he did may have saved Congress.

The left and the right are reaping what they have sown. Our children are now born into a ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY society. The USA has convinced itself that it can not only create a perfect America, it can create a perfect world. A world where no one ever engages in hate speech. A world where no one ever gets their feelings hurt. Freedom is messy and quite often not pretty. The 1st amendment is first for a reason. It is the most necessary. It allows for hate-driven rap lyrics and (as the ACLU will tell you when defending Nazi marches) it allows for evil to speak its mind. Most of the "racist" incidents occurred off campus. And there's an investigation into whether the incidents on campus were staged to draw attention to the incidents off campus. In the end, people will always be offended. Sometimes legitimately, but because human beings are both clever and political by nature, sometimes people will feign offense to get what they want. Whether it be special treatment, money, votes, fame . . . in other words, the one thing everyone has always wanted and always will------->Power.

I am sure this is similar to the issues in Ferguson. Majority of the issues in that city were started and carried out by people who didn't even live there. They were just there protesting and took it to far because they didn't live there and could care less what they damaged. They got someone the other night who wasn't evening Missouri, but this person was posting hateful messages online and threatening the university and black students.

Click only resigned her honorary status in the journalism department. She is still a professor with the communications department. She should be fired immediately and Missouri should cut all ties with her. What a disgrace.

The other lady in that video, the one who is the head of greek life, should be fired as well.

I saw on the news that these protests are spilling over to other universities. Ithica University supposedly had protests the past couple of days over their presidents handling of race issues.

I am sure this won't be the last one. Just pathetic. In the words of Ricky Stanzi, "You don't love it, leave it."
