Oregon/Ohio State are obviously pulling talent from around the country, but I do have to give Debbie some props in getting Elijah Pickett. Really hoping the hawks can pull in an OT yet to bolster the line.

That's a huge get. Literally and figuratively. Iowa could really use one of those.
He’s had law issues(knowingly spreading STD) so he Will definitely fit in to the typical Husker offseason natty cycle. Check off another sketchy high star character guy adding to that culture in Lincoln.
I think we need at least one starting OL from a power 4. Maybe they are looking to add a wr or a defensive player, but I always feel an OL should be a huge priority.
It does sound like coaches are high on Lauck and Pieper, however. 🤷♂️

Hawks doing a nice job in the portal! I'm sure they'll pick up a good CB before their done. Would like to see another OL and WR for depth. Don't want to get hit by injuries and have to play inexperienced players, especially on the OL.
I am sure it has been said many times, but all of these conferences outside of the big 2 are going to become feeder programs for the B1G and SEC. If you have displayed any talent you are going to end up in one of the two conferences. It sucks to be Iowa State, but that is their future.
Hawks will lose three OL after next year? They need to get some of the younger players game experience.
