And I though it was Iowas perimeter defense that was on firesmoking scoreboard 😂
For the double-bye, yesWe need Rutgers to win this, right?
So long double bye. 👋For the double-bye, yes
Wouldn't surprise me.Is it just me or does Pete Gillen keep clearing his throat and making weird noises on air?
Wouldn't surprise me.
He's had some almost-questionable comments during games, too, but he's still working games so maybe just my own sensibility at question.
Is your PQ on this game herky-jerky, or just mine? [watching on DirecTV]He is doing this Towson-Charleston game and he is grunting his way through this whole game.
I started a thread on Championship Week oh well i will post hereSince Iowa isn't hanging precariously on the bubble, I'm rooting for the underdogs in these mid-majors.
Hoping either, or both, St Mary's and/or Gonzaga lose in the WCC Semis tonight. SMC playing BYU right now, and Gonzaga faces San Francisco in the 'night cap'.

The visual quality is fine, but the movement has this quick-stop motion to it. Like watching on a bad stream.
You can post wherever you want. I either missed your thread or didn't see it and saw this thread was near the top again so was checking on the new posts.I started a thread on Championship Week oh well i will post here

I agree with you, but you wouldn't see the "elite ballhandling" without it. Kind of like hanging on the rim after the "wow" dunks...How is palming the ball not a thing anymore?
I guess it makes sense its not called, because EVERYONE does it.
Especially the PGs as they are lazily dribbling out top. They dribble it, and then completely carry the ball from underneath it before turning hand over and dribbling again OR catch the dribble in a side-palm carry for 1.5 to 2 seconds before dribbling again.
WTF is going on here??
I sure wish TonyP had used some of those "elite ballhandling" skills today. He couldn't keep hold of that thing to save his life.I agree with you, but you wouldn't see the "elite ballhandling" without it. Kind of like hanging on the rim after the "wow" dunks...
Nothing like having a 5-15 team make the semi-finals of your conference tournament in a major conference. This is a terrible look for the Big Ten. We have 1 top 5-10 team, Purdue, IU which will be a 4-6 seed and a bunch of very mediocre teams that will be lucky to get higher than an 8 seed.Rowdy Gayle is killing MSU like he staggered Iowa yesterday.
OSU is coming of age the last few weeks.
No Sensebaugh...no problem.
Good thing that college BB has a thing called a tourney to determine merit on the court and folks don't determine who is best by "the look", right?Nothing like having a 5-15 team make the semi-finals of your conference tournament in a major conference. I guess we’ll see. When your 3rd highest seeded team is going to be an 8 seed it’s not cut out for success. But yes, you’re correct, that’s why they play the games.Good thing that college BB has a thing called a tourney to determine merit on the court and folks don't determine who is best by "the look", right?
NU plays elite defense and is well-coached. But, good Lord, it is one of the worst shooting teams in America. And at the half
Northwestern 26
Penn St 25
More scoring in the last 5min than the first 15 min
The only think the conference tournaments do is illustrate how meaningless the games are. The NCAA should say go ahead and play tournaments if you wish but the results will have no bearing on the selections. No way in hell should a team that is 5-15 in conference play have even a remote chance at playing in the NCAA tournament. All of these teams have had 4 months of play to determine who is worthy of a bid. Why should a team who earned their bid over 4 months of play get bounced from the tourney because of some fluke run by a bad team in their conference tourney?Good thing that college BB has a thing called a tourney to determine merit on the court and folks don't determine who is best by "the look", right?
So if a team from a low mid-major that was 4-26 over the season that got hot and won 4-5 games to win their conference tournament is suddenly one of the best 68 teams in the country? Why have an NCAA tourney?
Just award the team with the most wins during the regular season a trophy.
Nah....you have a point but BB is a great game for tourneys.
If OSU wins 5 games in 5 days they are one of the best 68 teams right now.
No they’re not. It means they got hot at the right time. They proved over the entire 4 month season and 31 games what kind of team they were. 5-15 and 13-18 over an entire season. That’s who they really are. This is a fluke. Hopefully whoever plays them today keeps them from embarrassing the conference. Why have an NCAA tourney?

I guess RU didn’t deserve a tourney bidHofstra just took down Rutgers in OT 88-86.
The OT was fun to watch.I guess RU didn’t deserve a tourney bid
Bradley is solid. I mentioned in another post that uni beat wiscy in a preseason scrimmage and the wiscy players had a hard time with it. Bradley almost won the Missouri Valley tournament knocking out uni. Lost to Drake in the championship. I was rooting straight big 10 teams but i keep gagging trying to root for wiscy.Wisconsin dropped 40! FORTY! In one half! Lookout world!
Bradley is actually pretty decent.
