Jones shoved a guy in the back going up for a dunk and no call. Charges on blocking calls and suddenly in the second half everything is a foul. Just weird crappy reffing all the way around. I honestly don't know what to think other than i hope Iowa never gets those officials for even an exhibition game!I joined at the end. So I missed all the calls before. Just my two cents.
OSU beat Iowa pretty handily. Hopefully the Hawks can return the favor.Northwestern converted time and again on the offensive end over the last 5-6 minutes of that OSU game. They let OSU back in it late, but hung on. NU hit some big 3’s late in shot clock. OSU is a total mess.
He looks like a choir boy.Its crazy the crap that Wahl gets away with every single game.
Tons of traveling and lots of fouling. Its like he's the refs' "golden boy", who can do no wrong.
Indiana wins at Michigan.
Are we possibly going to see BOTH Wisconsin and Michigan miss out on the NCAA Tourney this year??

Well, if I were absolutely forced to pick one ... GO BLUE!Well, the next game will be another nail in the NCAA tourny coffin for one of these teams......Michigan travels to Wisky on Tuesday....lol.
That's a shame. I would be all for a Round 2!Unfortunately This year’s UM/Wisky game won’t be as eventful as last year’s…well, at least the handshake line!!
Yes, and I agree too. The other reason is we don't have to play Blue again and we need Wisky to get beat up as much as possible before we travel to Madison....beat em down, get them spinning sideways as a team as much as possible works for me......Well, if I were absolutely forced to pick one ... GO BLUE!
ISU came apart at the seams today.Anyone catch the ISU/OkSt. game? Another 20 fouls in the second half at the under 8 min to. Nobody from ISU could hit free throws. Somewhere around 50% from the line. Oklahoma St. gets another big resume win while ISU drops 2 in a row.
thatsashame.gifISU came apart at the seams today.
My $$ is on Howard. He's got the reach on Gard, and he grew up in "in them streets" or so he says.....That's a shame. I would be all for a Round 2!
Just going strictly off of KenPom lines, he has the standings looking like:Quietly, Mary Land might be a very good position to get a double bye in the BTT. They have a favorable remaining schedule.
The B1G is a logjam after PU. IU got an enormous boost by winning in Ann Arbor, but has a really tough remaining schedule. There could be a real log jam around 12-8. Rutgers still likely to be in the top 4, although the loss today to Illannoy makes that far less certain.
If Hawks can make it to 12-8, which will almost have to include a win tomorrow and Thursday against OSU, I think they would win most tiebreakers. MSU might be the only competing team with the tiebreaker right now against Iowa, which the Hawks could eliminate by beating them at home. Hope the Hawks can finish strong.
I'm guessing Holtmann's seat is getting hot, but they'll likely retain him for another year--he's made the tournament 7 straight years (8 if you count 2020) dating back to his first season at Butler + he has a top 10 recruiting class coming in. If they fire him, he will immediately become the top target for a bunch of power 6 schools. How does OSU's coach survive there after how this season has gone? Will Gard still be around if they don't make the tourney?
KenPom has them favored in every remaining game which is what I was referencing. Those road games you mentioned are Rutgers -2 and Rutgers -1 though so essentially toss-ups. It's just a computer algorithm at the end of the day, it's not going to be perfect (though the Vegas lines are often very close to the KenPom lines). When was this KenPom Projection? If Rutgers is going 14-6, that means they will have won out. While they definitely have a cupcake schedule rest of the way, they do have to go to Wisky and Penn St. Hopefully they can lose at least 1, if not both of the those. They host Northwestern and Michigan too. I see 4-2 for Rutgers, so 12-8.
