I understood it with his limited mat time in college given his injuries. But now, seemingly healthy for 6 plus months or more. It shouldn’t be as noticeable. I know he’s cutting weight now but still. Will he have gas for the best of three tourney.
Worries me every time match gets passed the 1st. SL skills with the gas tank of Desanto would ruin so many hopes and dreams.
No need. Fix didn’t do much. Gilman got a few push outs. Then a quick low righty single and as the match was finishing a time clock td.
Didn’t look great his first match but he sure took it to fix. Physical and with a pace.
For those who are streaming, rewind to 1:57 and watch Spencer walk off. The camera will pan out to all mats and watch him come off the middle mat on the left. Terry catches up to him and Spencer seems to turn at him? Something happened there from what I am seeing.
Gilman was in control the whole match. Step out and shot clock point to go up 2-0 in the 1st. Gilman with a quick shot for TD2 early in the 2nd. Fix looking for an opening, not finding much, couple half attempts. Gilman seals it with another TD countering Fix's shot to seal in late in the 2nd.
Also Gilman sporting the shaved head and full beard look. Barely recognized him.
The context of me saying that is people thinking the knee didn't get injured.

Spencer was walking of by himself, Terry catches up to him and about 3 to 5 seconds later it seemed like Spencer turn at Terry and then started walking again. I can't see if it was at Terry or what but seemed like something to me.
This is in no way supposed to be negative. Just wondering if anyone else saw it.
Yeah you just said the same thing again bud. I’ll be more specific. Are you saying that Spencer turned away from Terry as in he’s mad or Spencer was injured and told Terry about it.
To me it looked like Spencer got in his face. It’s super zoomed out though but I can see what he’s saying

I rewound it. IMO he turned toward Terry aggressively, but it looked like he was hyped up, not angry. They both point to somebody in the crowd before they walked out.
Well fwiw, him and Terry had a fired up moment after he won the Open in December 2019, was described as them just forehead to forehead yelling in eachothers faces (in a positive way tho)
Probably told him the new wrestling facility needed more windows.

I just watched it and I’m not sure it was anything. They were talking for awhile and then Spencer turned to (are we sure that’s Terry, I think it was Tom) and then immediately waived or pointed at someone in the crowd. It honestly could have been anything. No need to question it. Most likely it was a duck yeah we’re moving on moment.
I’ll just say if Spencer leaves Iowa city and then has something to say about the coaches it’s time to move on from t an t. Losing him is like losing your winning lottery ticket. Again, this is unfounded wild speculation.
