Not trying to be negative about this. Does this mean he couldn't pass the clearing house and he's going to JC to try to get his grades up? I've been excited about him coming here even though I know GR doesn't usually translate well to Folkstyle. Are grades why he was grayshirting? I'm not trying to pry into personal stuff, just wondering what this means for his future.

Didn't ever think it would work out but was hoping for the best. He needs to be somewhere he can work on his style, not play riding time.

With the new rule, there is zero eligibility loss for the two years he attends junior college.
If he still intends to be a Hawkeye, it’s a great way to get more folkstyle matches.
Pretty sure we will see more of this in the future rather than the traditional grey shirt.
