I prefer they pay taxes like I do. No tax on tips is just another grifty dodge by the wealthy and our corporate overlords.

If anyone should be complaining it would be strippers. It still takes just a dollar for them to put boobs in your face. All they want to do is support their families.
One of the best things about visiting Ireland last year was the little to no expectation to tip in most places. Soon, if Trump has his way, the freeloading businesses will be doing even more to make the system worse by exempting certain people from paying taxes on their income that while other people will continue to pay.
I’m usually a generous tipper but this stuff is so annoying that I’m tempted to skip the tip altogether and be that jerk to send a message.
Tipping won’t get worse than 20% for me. I will not go over that.
It’s my line in the sand.
If that isn’t enough they need to put a sign on the door so I know not to walk in.
I always have a couple hundred on me at all times in case a place only takes cash or you get a better deal with cash.

I can confirm the burgers are still fantastic. They were hit hard by the 2008 flood and had to gut the place and rebuild. I guess that moved them up out of dive bar category.
