on who to root for, Iowa or MSU. 89% for MSU and lees than 11% for Iowa. I find that a little strange since the East division needs the respect. If the shoe were on the other foot I know I'd root for someone in our conference side. Seems a little odd but maybe that's the little brother coming out in them.

I don't find it strange at all. I would find it very hard to cheer for the Gophers. There aren't many teams I dislike more--probably just Notre Dame and pretty much any team from the SEC.

Big ten version of Iowa State.

Amazingly similar in that they(HC) just fired a few assts. similar to when CPR fired Mangino at ISU to try and deflect criticism for a massive under performance this season. That's usually a big red flag and shows disorganization in the staff.
The "supposedly" close staff apparently isn't so close. Minny will continue to struggle because, in addition to a weak fan base, they haven't even hired an AD yet, after another scandal in the program.

The Gophers appear to have a major disfunction in leadership at many levels. Makes us appreciate the stability we have in IC.
