Over/Under on Hilton Boos

Trying to figure out where the book makers will set the value for this. Here’s my model...

13 total fouls on ISU
6 in play supposed missed calls
9 entire team or individual Iowa player
4 times for Fran’s actions

That totals 32 boo episodes by the ISU fan base.
Add at least one more for ISU fans booing this thread for its accuracy........

Actually I think I’m off on my model. I listed 10 on entire team or individual player. I think I shorted it

2- Entire team on and off court before start & half time
5 - Starting line up introductions
1 - Fran introduction
5 - Connor Mccaffrey entering/exiting the game
4 - Cordell Pemsl entering/exiting the game
Total = 17

My new total is 39.

AcTually, I was going to start a thread with the same purpose. It’s absolutely unbelievable how much they boo. Seriously, they boo the god damnn tip-off. Everything is against them. Those god damnn hayseeds don’t know How to act the second they leave the gravels.

I think you and TCool are right. I’m way short. I also think there will be some miscellaneous boos for Iowa fan caught on video board, fan dropping clone ice cream cone and ISU students asked not to be on the floor while game is in progress.

Until it was on WHO a couple minutes ago I had never heard the ISU radio call of the game last year where live on the radio John Walters blamed Connor McCaffery for the end of game pushing match last year. They are seriously the most delusional, cultish fanbase I’ve ever seen, and it starts with all the thin skinned losers at the top. Does he not realize that there is video from five angles of Jacobson starting it?

**** their entire athletic department. Let’s cancel the series in every sport.

Basically every study shows fans booing and getting on refs effects the game. Iowa State fans booing helps the team and I’d be fine with 100 boos tonight.

Idk of any studies, but it is definitely about trying to influence officiating while also promoting direct audience engagement. If people think it's about accurately assessing calls made on the floor, well... ok I guess

Ironic that fan of a team that can’t fill up Carver Hawkeye and make it basically sound like a morgue are trying to get on a fan base about being passionate and booing calls. Especially at a place where it’s known that the fan base effects games and booing is part of that.

OP estimate is way low, # of boos will = how many time JBo touches the ball, plus every time Fran stands up plus the others he mentions. I would say about 75, although some will be hard to separate especially for JBo, he will get constant booing. But Hilton will be energized I guarantee nobody will be reading a book or knitting LOL.. should be a fun game, just hope nobody from either team does something stupid. Good luck!

Complete sod heads. I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again, the second they leave the gravels, they have no idea how to act in public. Booing equals passion for their team.

Ironic the clowns can’t win in Carver like their last 2 trips. Poor Monte Morris and his planned celebration and then Naz Long losing his self proclaimed “Super Bowl”.

Clown fans have no answer for this. Just watch.

If we didn’t play the clowns in any sport would their obsession of the Hawks decrease in any meaningful way?

What would CyTwins do with all his time?

Let us know how it really is clown fans.

actually that poster is clearly a planted troll by the CF staff so I don’t take him seriously. But what’s funny is how many posters there go along with it in a serious manner.

The isu culture is just like that of a Cult. When I hear crybaby Jamie Pollard speak all I can think of is he is Baghdad Bob from the Gulf War but instead of spewing how they were defeating the Americans crybaby Jamie says how much better they are than big bro Iowa.

Facts be damned, all that matters is cross country.

Yeah, normally I like to say 'well, all fanbases have aholes, etc.' ... But there is traction to this claim ... those mfers "boo" at any and every call that does go their way ... It really is a 'thing.'

Hasn’t there been an incident or two involving KU players getting N bombs dropped on them?

And...It’s been said they said racist things to our former black male cheerleader as well. Quite an accomplished group of hayseeds over there. When they leave the gravels it’s go time!

The isu student section did this to Iowa Cheerleaders when Oz the Cheerleader was on the squad.

Crybaby Jaimie said he would investigate and nothing has ever been reported since.

Just how isu rolls.

Then throw in the beat Iowa jerseys from way back, the billboard they put up in crapids, the countdown to Iowa scoreboard, they have a long list of ridiculous behavior. Shiit you can’t make up.

and don’t ever forget, ever, the water is superb.

Ironic that blatant Clown fans are able to post here with impunity, no matter how delusional, but if a Hawkeye fan posts any sort of discouraging word on CyFan, he is immediately banned.
