16 pts after a rough start to the game. Played through the ups and downs and hit some big shots to keep us in striking distance.

He’d be even better if he didn’t think he’s a point guard. Dribbles into trouble too much.
A silent 16 for sure. The and 1 that got tipped was just AWESOME! Sometimes you need those.
The quietest 16 point game ever. I thought it was a typo when I read he had 16 in the ESPN article. I only remembered him dribbling into traffic and throwing up strange looking shots
He was money in the 2nd half. I thought he looked gassed in the first half and probably would have sat him if I were the coach. Shows what I know. 🙂

He was very good….like most players he has ups and downs, makes some bad plays but all in all he’s actually a very good, very talented player that we’re lucky to have.
The potential is there if he would just give the effort on defense.
Hot take, I know, but Iowa doesn’t win that game without Patrick. He had some key buckets that stopped the game from getting away.
What a tale of two halves. That first half was brutal, but he came in clutch in the 2nd half. Sign of a mentally tough player.
I agree. I told my son that it seemed like he wasn’t playing well but stats showed otherwise.
He did for sure. I do get a bad feelings when he dribbles behind his back for no reason ( I say that about everyone, Tony Perkins you listening ) and backs into traffic. That fall away is unblockable if he can get a decent % out of it. Not a fan of the running bank shot however...
Those early to's killed me. Especially the one that he could have grabbed before going out of bounds and not let refs make a call. Glad to see him bounce back. Our last 2 starts are way too lethargic and get down big early. Need to come out with some fire like we did against the kitty cats. Need to slap them during the intros, wrestling style.
PMAC didn't handle the Indiana guard quickness very well and turned it over by my count is 2 times but stats say 1. I think he lost a rebound which ended up a indiana putback which I thought was a TO.
Pmac abilty to dribble drive ended up being huge. He definitely is a good weapon on offensive side. The 2 rebounds for PMAC is pretty weak effort...I wish he had CMACs grit.
He's young so hopefully he can and will be able to devote himself to getting stronger between now and next season. He'll need it!
Iowa will need that tomorrow. PMac's big enough to bet his shot off over the Purdue bigs.
Keegan was injured and didn't play against them in the first game and Iowa took them to the wire. He had a poor outing in the second game but he had some early foul trouble. I think he's looking forward to another game for a little retribution.
Quietest 16? Did you guys fall asleep? He had around 3-4 buckets at really crucial times.
I think they mean it didn't seem to add up to 16 but yes, you are right. PMac had the bandaids when Iowa was bleeding. He was magnificent in the 2nd half.
Man, if we want to expand it out, this whole team. I actually think it was the 2nd half of the first Indiana game where I thought they could actually make some noise. Fran has made some very effective changes in his lineups since then.
That’s awesome after everything they’ve been through. Congrats to them. B1G champs and victorious vs cancer. All their hard work paid off.
