I didn't see a thread mentioning how well Patrick played in the Purdon't loss. Maybe the most aggressive I have ever seen him play, and was very encouraging. We needed more depth and maybe he can be the answer for the rest of the season. If he plays the way he did last night, maybe he can finally cover some minutes at the 4, when Kris takes a blow. Our press is really effective with both Patrick and Kris' long arms making it difficult to pass over.

Against some bigger teams perhaps Patrick could start and get a lot of minutes. Wasnt he a starter to start the season?

But I agree that he looked more fluid and hop. Good for him. I would think he could have put a lot of pressure on himself as the coaches son.

We could also use him to get a hot hand from the arc and on the boards as those two things were very lacking the last game.

Patrick had 5 steals that created havoc for PU's smallish guards.
I think he looks a little thicker so maybe he is eating better. All good.
I hope his minutes can increase to give our frontcourt crew more depth.
Hawks are in the dog days of the conference marathon schedule. Fran needs to spread the minutes a bit more if possible before the tourney demands a shortened rotation.
Patrick's and Josh's play were good developments coming out of a loss.
