With national signing day next Wednesday, it's time to remember Paul Boetcher RIP. Paul was the original football recruiting guru with his HRN (Hawkeye Recruiting Notebook). All of us could hardly wait for those newsletters to arrive. His condo in south Cedar Rapids was jammed with newspaper articles and player photos, etc. He loved the Hawks and all things with recruiting. Here's to you Paul, thanks for your tireless work and joy you provided us. If you were alive today you would always tell me your impact player for each new class. In your honor and memory, I'll go with Keegan Johnson WR Nebraska. Other choices ? 😎❤️🏈
