Pemsl into the transfer portal

I am assuming you are just trying to egg people on out of boredom but if you don't think Frederick, Connor, Touissant, and Bohannon don't have toughness, then not sure sure what to tell you.

In fact, this was probably the toughest team Iowa has had mentally in a long time.
Kinda funny how no one mentions Weezy as being tough. At least were on that same page.

Just saw this story. Very disappointed. I think we're going to be really good next season and hoped Cordell would be part of that success.

Always like the kid. Hope he takes the Ellingson route and goes to Drake.

As others have stated, that would probably not be a good fit for CP. Not the way they run their offense.

He might have some mental toughness but he's physically not very strong. When he tries to drive to the basket hard, he usually ends up on the ground. JU used to have the same problem.
Not disagreeing. I assumed mental toughness was what was being discussed here based on Printthis’ comments

Kevin Boyle, Chris Street, Roy Marble and Jacob Jaacks are a few guys i remember as being tough.. guys that would get in your face. Iowa basketball has been missing that for a long time and Cordell was the only one on the team that had that quality even with limited minutes.

CJ, CMac, Luka, JT all are in-your-face defenders as much as Pemsl was. You'd have to be an idiot not to see that.

"Guys that would get in your face"...have you watched the games? Connor got in an opponents' face just about every game. Connor is the definition of tough and feisty on the court.

Now, believe me, I'm not saying we have a lineup full of tough guys but for the life of me I can't figure out why you are saying Pemsl was the only one with that quality. C Mac seemingly wanted to fight at the "drop of a hat."

The guy is obviously a operating on a few less brain cells than most. Cut him a break!

;)

Enlighten me with some tough guys on the roster besides Garza. Toughness is a quality that good teams have..

OK. I'll bite. How about Jordan Bohannon? Joe Touissant? Connor McCaffrey? CJ Fredrick? With Luka, those are five of the toughest kids in college basketball. You could look it up. Or you could just ask around the Big Ten.

You spell toughness I O W A.

I think his transfer says Garza plans to come back. If Garza was leaving, he knows there would be more minutes for him. I hope I'm right.
Can you imagine Pemsl taking a lot of the minutes vacated by a Garza departure?

You'd find Iowa back in the basement of the Big Ten standings in a hurry.

Youre late to the party chief. I stated in a earlier message " anybody besides Garzilla "

Was always talking about the front court players, it went sideways when people started comparing backcrt vs frt crt.. were gonna miss his 8-10 min and 5pts and 5 or so boards.. mixing it up down low when Garza is out. Whos gonna take Kreiners and Pemsls minutes that has a frame? A freshman? Nunge? PMac? Dont see it but hope im wrong.

Did you miss the day where they taught apostrophes in school? FFS

Did Roy Marble need to shove Ed out of the way to get in someone’s face? Small credibility issue on that one.
FYI Any player that makes a 3 point play to send Iowa to the final four is okay to post on here. Special K was tougher than Boyle as well.
