Is this a valid reason to call post B a pepsi?

Post A posted first.
-has garnered 2 responses

Post B posted 45 minutes later
-Has garnered 9 responses before OP of post A comes in to call it a pepsi

Is it still a pepsi? Or should the pepsi-ness of it be ignored since the later post has gotten more traction?

That more of an RC Cola violation I would say

I think when a second-person submits the same content with a better headline that actually garners engagement, it shouldn't be a full Pepsi.

Maybe a Cyrstal Pepsi?

I'm embarrassed to admit this, but what's Pepsi mean, in the context of this message board?

I have a couple of fans here who will now highlight my post with a laughing emoji (thanks in advance), but I would love to finally know what pepsi means.
pepsicock used to have a terrible habit of posting a popular story like 3 days after it happened. Like I'm talking stories that would have 10 pages of content and still be on the front page, and he would come in and start a new thread on it.

And now he just posts in political threads with a gif or a 1-3 word reply that has nothing to do with the topic of the thread.

It’s still a Pepsi.

Unless the first time it was posted was by one of the crazies who are blocked by 80% of the people here. Hi Ryan!
Or if the title of the original thread didn’t clearly indicate the subject material or couldn’t be found with keyword search because they just posted a tweet that doesn’t show up in searches.

Depends.

Did your mangina hurt when you typed this? I can create a decision flow diagram for you, if it will help.

i already said it wasn't about me you wet wipe.

In the spirit of who Pepsi was named after, it's not a Pepsi. A true Pepsi is posting the same content into a new thread that a bunch of people already knew about from an existing thread.

If nobody knew about the original thread it's hard to call it a Pepsi, imo. The whole gag of a pepsi is that somebody saw the original thread, said eff it, and decided to create their own thread just because.

This is not a simple black and white answer.

While the contents of Post B may indeed be "Pepsi" in regards to Post A, there also needs to be some responsibility taken for the thread title.

If the thread title of post A sucks and is not clear as to what it includes, I feel there should be some leniency given to the OP of post B.

(now if both Post A and Post B thread titles clearly state " @millah_22 molests collies" then it's Pepsi all the way and OP of Post B should be drawn & quartered)

The board idiot has weighed in and disagreed with you.

Feel free to bask in your correctness.
