Tuck in your jersery, young man. That starting spot is all yours if you want it. Let's go!
He got paid well to quit.Tony Perkins was going to take it anyway. CJ is a quitter

20 large. How much do you envision a player like CJ got paid?

I'm sure Cal has his pay scale set for player performance. Pay grade 5 would be a good player and so on. CJ would probably be a grade 3.How much do you envision a player like CJ got paid?
Great comment! I know it was a small sample size last year, but Perkins always seemed to do great stuff when he was on the floor. I wish he'd played a lot more, and I hope he gets many meaningful minutes next year to show what he can do.Tuck in your jersery, young man. That starting spot is all yours if you want it. Let's go!

I think Mulvey is fast enough to play a good center in the lineup next year. He’s pretty quick on his feet.Toussaint at PG
Perkins at SG
Patrick at SF
Keegan at PF
Kris at PF
That is the lineup I want to see. We play man to man and we are good. Our zone would be A LOT quicker too.
At Sienna (I know it is a long time ago) Fran would pull out the full court pressure a lot. I think this is finally the group that can do this.

Connor as a starter or 6th man in the 1-4 spots serves a purpose whether you like it or not.
Ulis backs up the 1 and 2
Sandfort backs up SF
Ogundele at the 5
Mulvey at the 4 & 5.
Throw in a grad transfer, a splash or not, at the 2 and the 4/5 would be good. But I am actually ok with the 10 we have.
I do not see it. Toussaint turned a corner the last few games. Did he have turnovers? yeah, but he was really playing at a different level even for him.I could see Uhlis starting over Toussaint

Unless JoBo comes back, I think Joe T will be the starter unless either he plays himself out of it or Ulis blows up, either of which could happen. But I just think that Joe T will grab this opportunity and run with it.I do not see it. Toussaint turned a corner the last few games. I love that line-up! I commented on some thread right after Nunge got hurt and said I'd love to see a line-up like this when Garza sat out a few minutes and just press the shit out of teams...really extend it and get after it...and then run, run, run. Maybe we'll see that next year.Toussaint at PG

He shouldn’t however. If healthy Conner is going to start.
I think he could try to score more this next year. He can back guys down and play some post. He is not a push over. He just was not a scorer. Plus he was injured. I can see him being valuable next year in what his role will be.He shouldn’t however.
I hope CMac can score because he can't live on assists alone - others on the team can do that and more. CMac was able to do it with this year's team when he was healthy but his and CJ's injuries really hurt the team later in the year. Not blaming them personally, I just wish that the new kids could have filled in better when those two were hurt.I think he could try to score more this next year. Connor is a competitor and I appreciate that about him. He does many little things for the team that aren’t always represented by stats. That being said, his weaknesses outweigh his strengths in my opinion thus not wanting him to play starter minutes.I think he could try to score more this next year. I don’t see how connor is healthy by the start of next season. We all saw how hard it was and how much of a toll it took on jbo. My hope, he isn’t ready to start the season and someone else fills that roll and contributes to the point that when connor is healthy, fran can’t justify starting him. Similar to what happened 2 seasons ago with nunge going down and connor taking his spot and playing well enough to hold it for this season as well. I would like to see connor back in the 6th man role, bringing his heady and calm play but also his toughness. His versatility of playing 1-4 is worth quite a bitIf healthy Conner is going to start.
Again (for like the 100th time!), it's U-L-I-S. His first name is Ahron, the H doesn't carry over to his last name.I could see Uhlis starting over Toussaint

While turnovers were an issue at times, Joe T's biggest issue will be avoiding silly fouls that will have him parked on the bench the rest of the half.I do not see it. To me - his biggest issue is to learn he does not have to make a play every time he has the ball. I do believe he got better with that aspect later in the year. And unless i am mistaken, his minutes went up too? While turnovers were an issue at times, Joe T's biggest issue will be avoiding silly fouls that will have him parked on the bench the rest of the half.
