Saturday I went to the Michigan/Rutgers game in Ann Arbor. I (probably obviously) tailgated with a bunch of hard core UM fans. They seemed to have thawed on Harbaugh (they would have skewered him a short time ago). More importantly, it was awesome how those guys who were arrogant asses a decade or so ago absolutely revere Iowa. They couldn’t have more respect for KF, the system, the consistency, the getting away with an ugly win now and then, and most of all, our defense. It was really neat to see how a “blue blood” program’s fans respected the tigerhawk on my hoodie- and wished their program was more like ours.
