Yep…not too too far from me. Generally a very active shopping spot, as many “high-end” brands are represented. Lots of families/kids walking around. Housing right around that area isn’t cheap either. Tired of this crap.

We need to start showing it on TV and widespread on social media. Everyone in this country needs to start seeing the damage left behind from assault rifles so we can finally ban them and make other changes on guns. It’s the only way to wake this country up out of its stupor. Citizens need to see what it looks like when children’s bodies are yet again destroyed by this crap.

Which a-holes? The side that wants everybody to be armed, or the side that just wants to put speedbumps in the way of everybody being armed?
Just heard that the police took out the shooter, so either folks with guns didn’t want to participate or they just missed when they attempted to take out the shooter.
Have only seen it mentioned the cops neutralized the shooter. Do you have it differently?
There are... they prolly all took out their guns and started shooting anyone with a gun.
Families need to give permission for the mutilated bodies get shown in the media. The much under reported aspect of high caliber weapons is the much more damage done per gun shot wound.
There is also a video of the shooter dead on the ground. He appeared to be heavily armed and it looks like he took a headshot through the sunglasses.
Press conference just now, 9 dead, Two politicians have spoken, ”prayers are needed” was the message they conveyed.
Appears the cop brained him, which would have taken massive balls and skill if just armed with a pistol. Given how heavily armed that guy was, cop probably saved a lot of lives.

It was a cross section of truly what America is...persons of all races, nationalities, ages. Just out and about on a nice day in a suburb known as “safe”.
Not anymore.
And there are still people in this world who are upset by these incidents and they are comforted by saying prayers for those harmed or their families suddenly devastated. If you aren’t then fine but stop disparaging those who react differently.
