Police officer pours liquor then arrests guy for DUI

A lot of the good ones left when they were vilified by the left during the summer of love. There have always been bad cops. The good ones can get other work though and this is what we will be left with.
And what caused that "summer of love"?

The only reason that bad behavior was not highlighted earlier was because there were no cell phones and body cams.
Rogue cops were always in existence.

Cops dumb enough to be dirty on video are too dumb to be cops.

There needs to be a law that cops making up charges need to be charged with a crime, and face the same penalties as the person they charged with the crimes.
the quiet part out loud

The most amazing part of this horrible story is the trial is still going on. City of Tallahassee is about to get sued bigly as this video goes viral. You would think some sane minds would think some would for the good of everyone involved have pulled this case. Nope.

It will interesting to see how the jury decides this. It's always best to hear all sides, not just an edited video.

He was driving with a suspended license, which under Florida law is an arrestable offense.

Also, from the article: The officer who wrote the report notes Riley told her he had had a “couple of drinks” at an area bar before he was pulled over.

Okay so you arrest him for that and do a dui test. Do you pour out an unopened bottle and claim it was opened?

Worse penalties if you ask me. Because not only did they attempt to have an innocent person be put in jail based on falsified evidence, they have also caused people to distrust their police force.

People who distrust the police arn't going to call the police when they see crimes happening nor are they going to want to talk to police when police are trying investigate a crime that they know happened.

That hurts police in the long run and it hurts the community in the long run.

Like I'm guessing the open container laws that she falsified evidence for are not that much of a sentence, but what she did deserves at least a 5 year sentence on top of whatever sentence he would have otherwise gotten.

Otherwise we're just going to keep spinning our wheels and minority communities will just keep distrusting the police.

Suspended license I'm assuming he's obviously guilty of. DUI I believe after arrest they can take a test to see where he was at.

But I think she was also trying to allege he violated open container laws. And that was clearly falsified.

Also isn't there a destruction of private property for her there? Regardless of his other violations, the alcohol he had was still his private property which she poured onto the ground.

Disagree. In many cases the punishment for the officer should be much worse. For instance, here the officer would only be punished for a dui type offense. That’s not enough. If you had said a minimum or the punishment for the crime, whichever is more, I’d be down with that.

George Floyd OD'ing after trying to steal property. Same Saint that pointed a loaded gun at a pregnant woman's stomach earlier in life. A true hero to the left.

Watched it it was bullshit.

Given its title, I’m sure it’s a documentary with an agenda. With that said, the defund/disband movement that followed George Floyd’s death proved disastrous for the city. Hundreds of LEOs quit and violent crime spiked to historic levels. It was a grand example of throwing the baby out with the bath water. With no plan in place. There probably is a lot of bullshit in the doc, but what I posted is fact.

So, you're saying the cops reacted based on GF's previous history?
Is that your stance?

No you’re a moron. And chauvin was tried and held to account by a jury of his peers. You’re a dumbass and a loser.
I guess oj Simpson really didn't murder his wife. St George still died of an overdose.
