I couldn't dream of doing it during my 24 years in the Army, but now that I have a normal 8-4:30 job all is possible.I want to fish 22 Thursdays of every spring/summer!

I'm not being literal, Turk, as the outcome of a fishing tournament clearly is not worth life in prison. That being said, nothing would necessarily surprise me...What competitors would shoot them? Many of those guys have families to go home to. Not worth it
I figured as much. People can think it all they want, they just can't "ACT" on it. I'm sure many involved that day would approve of that outcome!I'm not being literal, Turk, as the outcome of a fishing tournament clearly is not worth life in prison. I love that course of action, Turk!! LMAO!! Perhaps send them down in 30 second increments through the rehab process?? In the end I was surprised that they were only forced to pay $2500 each for their crimes, though I did read in an article that they also had to forfeit their $130k boat used for the tournament, which made it a bit better.I figured as much. A more fitting punishment for them could be tying some lead weights to them and let them sink to the bottom of the Lake to think about what they did.. They can come back up after they are rehabilitated! 😉

When I retire Im coming to Tennessee to fish with you on a few of those thursdays, the rest of them I will be in the Atlantic ocean fishing and you are more then welcome to come and join me on a few of those other thursdays!I couldn't dream of doing it during my 24 years in the Army, but now that I have a normal 8-4:30 job all is possible.
The "obvious reasons" are usually money or regret. In this case, the woman's accusations seem credible from what's public so far. Most of the time, the accusations are credible. The bad apples who would make false accusations are a distinct minority (and should be subject to the same penalty as the actual crime if proven to be intentional).What are the obvious reasons?
Did you expect anything less?AJ's court date got postponed.

But this bothers me-for some reason, this sounds like a desperation ploy;

i hope they dig into his documented pattern of reckless behavior just as muchIn a trial all the dirt comes out. Reputation matters for both parties
That's how it works. Give them all the information and backgrounds and the jury will decide. Most people only know 1 persons background. Now we will learn bothi hope they dig into his documented pattern of reckless behavior just as much

It's why we have a justice system. If you know what happened go tell the court system in Oklahoma and save everyone some time and $That's an old school thought process. Most now understand that no means no.
Who knows, could have been consensual and turned for her if he was cocky afterwards or she just felt regret. I don’t automatically believe every women being the victim of a crazy bitch completely fabricating crap about me, which would have destroyed my career if she would’ve had a shred of evidence. In this case there was a poorly placed perl necklace, so it’s a matter of her proving she didn’t want to participate. That will be hard to prove without evidence he roughed her up to force her to participate.It's why we have a justice system.
