How does one answer this question?
I suppose blacks are better off today than they were 5 years ago...as they were better off then than they were 5 years earlier....as they were better off then than they were 5 years before that ........
It's kind of liking asking, "Do you still beat your wife? Yes? or No?"

I am glad I was born born white as opposed to born black. I would say, by and large, that I would rather be born white than black today, also.

No. I understand well what the question asked...it asked an quantitatively deep question, but required a simplistic "yes or no" answer.
It is a poor question.
