Several Iowa media started following mark gronowski from SDSU after the game. Coincidence or does that guy have eligibility left?
He has a year left. He is not coming back to SDSU, but is probably going into the draft?
And Phillips to Va Tech.
Essentially down to the kid from NIU whom I’m not sure is much of an upgrade.
ESPN web site shows that NIU transfer safety Santana Banner has signed with the Hawks. A couple of other places show him as committed, but not signed, to Mizzou. Just a mistake by ESPN, or do they know something other sites don't?

I’m just seeing that he’s down to VaTech, Iowa, and Memphis.
Anyone have any info on Mark Gronowski? I know he is done at SDSU but looks like he could have a year left if he so chooses. Several Iowa media started following him, are they trying to get him to come back and transfer to Iowa for the year? I wanted him last year and was surprised he did transfer to NW with his OC.

I guess I just saw the CB to Va Tech and assumed he was going there.
Iowa now sits dead last in the B1G (#18) AND dead last of all the P4 conference schools on the portal rankings on 247's site. Wake Forest and Georgia get an N/A since they don't have a commit yet.
Then it’s a good thing Iowa seems to still be planning on adding portal players.
I would take him in a heartbeat....he loves SDSU. He passed up million dollar offers to go to the SEC last year and finish out at SDSU.
Will be interested to see what his next path is.
If it makes you feel better, last in the B1G is exactly where they finished last year as well so at least they're consistent.

This people forget that part of it is some of these schools lose a lot more guys then we do to the portal....
the portal reaction is an insufferable as recruiting reaction was 20 years ago.

I see he’s from Naperville which is a suburb of both Chicago and Iowa City.

Bock and Sanderson I think have followed him for about that long. He was offered 1mil last year by SEC team I’ve read.. so the 1.5 for pribula and having only 1 year left seems as if we could get him for less.
I think it could be a home run get if we pulled it off.
The real question is, why transfer if he is draft able?
