Just a quick reminder that teams can continue to sign players well after the portal window closes. Players just can no longer enter.

But that said, I share your desire to hear more portal news soon.

Don't forget, there is a 5 day window after the final game of the season for teams that play after the 28th. I would assume there will be a decent amount of guys hopping in after that.

The window is for the players to declare for the portal. Teams can sign them after the window closes. We've swung and missed a lot but I don't think we're in panic mode yet. Plenty of kids available. Finding the right ones is a different matter...

getting a 3 Year starter back i would say is a win considering He was good His Freshman and Soph Seasons and the 2nd half of the Jr Season, He was bad early this Season yes but with Iowa losing its Linebackers , Black and Schulte who was IMO far worse than X I would argue Iowa's defense needs as many returning starters back as possible so Estringer and Lutmer are not thrown to the wolves.
