Post here if you'd like to see what Mansell can do with a half to himself

I was assuming you were playing the part of pissed September Iowa fan. I'm starting to think you're playing the part of Iowa football satirist and I'm starting to enjoy your work.

So you don't think the backup should get reps or you do? Seems reasonable that any coach would want to prepare his 2nd string QB. No?

Trans? That may explain much of your confusion.
Rick Stanzi got me re-addicted to chewing tobacco at SpoCo on Dubuque. It was after a Purdue victory. He saw me chewing Jack Links jerky chew and told me to knock it off and I listened. Don't doubt my orientations. I will not be kind to your children.

Dumbass. Probably not in a close game. We've been fortunate enough to have two early season blowouts. Where are you from pony? I'd like to break it down to geography.

Hey if you hate lawyers, my opinion of your interpersonal skills just improved 47.629 %
I don't hate lawyers. I like them slightly less than other people I know. Don't confuse things. Why is this going on over football. I'm right. You probably didn't attend Iowa so who cares what you say. Those kind of thoughts.

It ****ING happened. Dipshit. First d rive wasn't peace corps recruits. Holy shit. First team defensive rotation was still in.

Calm down. Things are gonna be fine. Some genius named KinnickatNight said this was a great thread and of course I will share the credit. I assume that was one of your concerns?

You really think they are coming back from 24-0? Not with our defense and you know it
So you want the #2 QB to get to play half the game with the number one offensive line if we are up by 4 touchdowns but you don't want the number 2's on the offensive line to play. You only want the QB to play and the rest of team can go to he-- and take their chances on getting injured. You must room with Mansell or be related to him. This doesn't make sense but what does on this board. We win big and are undefeated and you still want a new coaching staff, new QB and new AD. NICE:D

Mansell should get most, if not all, of the 4th quarter, and I think he will.

I'm not impressed with Stanley's lack of mobility...especially against UNI. One man coming through, and instead of simply side-stepping him, Stanley takes the sack. Not good.

I would like to see Stanley and Tom Brady race. I do think Iowa’s Offense is limited due to his inability to scramble or run.

I don't like your work thus far but I'm starting to appreciate it. But I still don't like it.

I'm an alum. But you're under no obligation to believe that. Shirley you don't think the original post was overly dramatic or confusing, correct?

I'm sorry, I don't speak Ebonics.

Here we go. Something to work with. He did get most of the 4th quarter, and it appears he was auditioning for the starters job in the minds of some. But that's not a fair way to look at his contribution or Stanley's. Stanley does have mobility issues. And for those who read the game thread many expressed a reasonable opinion that the fans would like to see where the backup stands in regards to ability and playbook knowledge. Brian appears to be more willing to give the backup some OJT and show what he can do. I think that's a recent development as past years the 2nd stringer typically just handed off the ball late in the 4th quarter.

You can keep the rock. Smack it against your head a few times.

No. Offense needs to keep getting things worked out. And if it's against the hapless Northern Iowa so be it

No reps against a clearly outmatched FCS team heading into conference play? That doesn't seem like a prudent insurance policy.
