You should be able to separate an activist from a scientist. The WPATH is filled with activists and they are also the ones who have led the charge for the pro trans research. They have scam research because they were providing research that would affirm their ideas rather researching and letting the results speak for themselves.

That really just depends on credentials to me. I’ve disagreed with a lot of shit. Then found out I was wrong.

When it comes to the transgender community. I just kind of leave it to the experts. But hey. What do I know.

A boy with excess breast tissue is gynecomastia, it is not related to gender. A boy can get surgery for this without a gender dysphoria diagnosis.

On the otherhand, a man can get a breast augmentation covered by insurance because it is an essential procedure whil a woman with dysformed breasts can not get it covered by insurance (one breast is an a and 1 is a D). I am assuming you can see how this is not right.

I thought conservatives cared about Parent's Choice? Children cannot receive medical treatment without parents permission.

So, how do you decide when the parents are important in the process? Are you ok with laws that take custody away from parents who choose against gender affirming care for their kids? How about schools keeping info about a child’s identity away from their parents?

It seems both sides wield the “it’s for the parents to decide” ax when it helps them, but are totally fine with cutting them off at the knees when it goes against their stance.

We all make bad choices. Suicide is a bad choice.

Many times, not always, suicide is the culmination of many previous bad choices.

Can you imagine how bad some of these trans people feel about their choice? I don't think it should come as a surprise that the suicide rate is so high.

It's a mental illness and should be treated as such. That will save lives.

I've heard that the trans suicide rate is higher because of random internet hatred, and a society/family that rejects them.

No. I am 100% in the camp of parents know what’s best for their children. However, I also think there are some shady medical professionals out there doing things they probably shouldn’t be doing as well.
