I agree with the poster who said they were physically ill after last night. I felt the same way for Spencer, because I realize everything he’s put into this sport and into our university through some of the most adversity I’ve ever seen an athlete go through at this level. He fell short of what he came to Iowa to do, and I feel absolutely gutted for him.

To pretend that was just a normal sporting event and loss is ridiculous. You clearly don’t get it and that’s okay, just don’t act like others are being ridiculous because they actually do get it.

Keep that in mind when you see a pedo post . Think losing a sporting match is painful ? Try being sexually abused. I've said it before here my wife was a victim as a young child. Two friends were abused, one by a priest , one a local guy.
He almost abused me too fwiw. And I know psu covered up for Sandusky . A friend was on that case. I also know he said to me that every case he investigated, if they had a corporate structure they covered it up. Schools, charities, churches, and businesses .
And in all those cases some people just can't accept it. So if they're serious about banning people for trolling they should ban anyone who tosses out a pedo insult . Because if you think you're physically sick over sports , imagine when your wife tells you what happened to her as a child .
Or imagine the pain her parents felt. Losing a big match is nowhere close to actual harm . I know this os a sports board and people love sports, but it's not like real world traumatic events .

It was a crushing loss for a young man that has been through hell rehabbing his knees for the last 3 years to reach his goals when life has thrown him nothing but curve balls for 8 or 9 years. He was 2 wins away from that goal. That is a big deal for me and you can bet your ass it was a big deal for Spencer. That is why some feel so strongly about it.
