Is tonight, I think. Cook team favored, but Pemsl- Kreiner team has done really well without Jok who played only one or two games. Kind of a meaningless championship, but I hope all the Iowa guys play well.

Well, so much for Tyler Cook's guarantee :)

Highlight video showed a lot of nice moves from Cook, Daily and Kriener. Really impressed with shooting from Daily and Kriener. I like the 10 rebounds from Kriener in a tough competitive game. In an earlier interview Jok mentioned Kriener's shooting ability. Gonna be an interesting fall as playing time is sorted out.

Sounds like Kreiner had a pretty good game.
Kriener may be the forgotten man this summer. He and Pemsl combined to lead their team to a 15+ rebound margin, which was the major statistical difference in the game: 82-80 was the score. Brady Ernst was a distant 4th among the big men in this contest, so if one of Pemsl/Kriener blocked out Cook, the other could get the rebound for the most part. Cook continues to hit well from outside: 2/3 from 3.

Ernst was hurt in the first half.

Not sure the final stats are particularly meaningful. Remember, Fleming led the league in scoring last season.
I think the leading scorers this year will score a few points for their respective teams. The PTL's top scorers were: Lohaus, Morgan, Cook, Moss, and Baer.
