Pullin for the Hawks vs I-State tonight?

Iowa already played and beat ISU.
I-State is playing

The current 11th place team in the B1G beat Kansas. No reason why the Clowns shouldn't - certainly would help our RPI. It's the least they could do.

Watching this game so I can listen to all the "boos" and "ref you suck" chants. It's highly entertaining!

Oh, and so I can hear Fran Franchilla say things like "anything can happen in this building." LOL

Always hear on tv an mf or bs multiple times at the refs when a call goes against them. Stay classy Cyclowns.

Loved hearing John Andersen at the end transitioning to SportsCenter say how the JayHawks beat the "Clonie's" with an overall record of 59-163. Nice record Clowns.

Yeah found that funny when isu had only called for 4 fouls with 5 minutes to play. Almost unbearable to watch with the whining on any call goes against them. After game see where Lundardi has them a 7 seed going into this game. I'm sorry how are they seeded so high? 0-5 vs rpi top 50. Only one decent non conference win vs Miami who along with Texas tech win are in 50s and 60s. according to rpi amazingly okie st who is some how 53rd but is 10-7 0-5 in and last place in conference is their best win of season so far. 8 of 11 wins vs team outside rpi top 100. Oh yeah they also have that loss to a team outside top 100 in Iowa

Right now to me they are a bubble team until they notch a signature win or 2 in conference.

If ISU misses the tournament this year, which is very much in play at this point, could Prohm be on the hot seat pretty quick? ISU is going to be really bad next year, I mean their fans are talking themselves into Solomon Young being a key to their success, he's a post who can't find more than like five minutes a game on a team with zero size. With ISU losing all five starters, they probably go into next season predicted to finish last in the B12.

I have serious doubts about Prohm. I wouldn't say hot seat, but overall interest and excitement in the program could crater quick, I know ISU fans have a lot of recency bias but it's certainly possible.

Last year I sold 2 tickets to the KU game for almost 200 per. I made 65.00 per this year. Next year it'll be a lot less.

Go to cyclone fanatic and ask Cy Twins how awesome isu will be. isu delusion runs rampant on that site.

Not to defend the ISU folks, but watching the game (and hoping they could end in a scoreless tie) simply because nothing else was on, I will say the officiating was pretty brutal. It was ugly both ways with some "are you serous?" moments.
Also watched the UNC-Florida State game this weekend and it too was ugly. I think one of the cheerleaders was in danger of fouling out. I realize there are games where people actually foul a lot, but this game was called with the consistency of cookie dough. Just amazing how bad college refs have become.

I see where classy isu fans choose to throw things onto the court again. The only difference between a typical isu fan and a two year old is that a two year old isn't strong enough to throw things onto the court.

Tell us how it really was Bryce.

Like I said, I wasn't defending them and you could clearly hear some mow-rons behind the ESPN boys yelling "bullsheet" a number of times. I was commenting on how bad officiating continues to be.

Didn't see it, but it should never happen. You have a link or time it happened?

There was also about a four minute stretch where the refs reversed two out of bounds calls in favor of ISU, called a terrible shot clock violation against Kansas on a shot that clearly hit the rim and prevented Kansas from getting an easy lay up and cost them a change in the possession arrow.

None of that counts. Errrors only occur against isu.

I hope they're not complaining about the officiating. Kansas had 14 fouls, ISU 12. Kansas shot 5 total free throws and 3 came in the last :47 of the game. Must of been equally bad.

Espn had an article talking about how Indiana could miss tournament struggling after early season wins vs Kansas and unc but losing rest of tough non conference and poor start in conference. Says how lundardi has 8 seed still but conference play vital. You'd think be even more important for isu. So far no wins came top half of conference and only one decent non conference win vs Miami. Need to win some vs Kansas, wvu or Baylor. Lose those games and they could be continuing to go down the same path of Iowa recker and Evans senior season.

Yes, if the team misses the NCAA he will be on the hot seat....especially if the Bulls fire Fred.
I don't think ISU will be really bad next year.

Iowa State is solid, not great. I wouldn't be surprised if they miss the NCAA. Watching Kansas, they looked to be down also vs past teams.

Ironic if Iowa passes ISU next year. No Hoiberg and pulling transfers out of his hat, no Hilton magic.
