and could’ve won by 20+ points easily.

Youch!

So many players played not bad but terrible. Pretty much every single player but Garza.

So much bad in such a huge game.

That’s what happens when you get killed on the offensive boards. Too lazy to actually go back through the play by play, but I’d be interested to see, of possessions resulting in a field goal attempt, what the percentage of a converted field goal was for Purdue. Had to have been north of 50%

Very few guys are shooting with confidence right now, or are just not reliable scorers to begin with given what we try to do, offensively.

Joe is not capable of creating his own shot through contact, and is not moving well enough through screens to get many good open shots.

Also, rarely is he ever able to find his man being the one that doubles on Garza leaving him open for the kick out, and teams have seemed to scout us to the point that if that ever happens, they immediately slide someone else to cover him leaving one of our less-confident shooters, or Pemsl, open...........

It's all just really unfortunate, and why not having Bohannon this year hurts. It will also hurt if Iowa loses Garza next year because Kriener will be gone, Pemsl may be gone, and nobody can expect Nunge to fill that void until he proves he can play stronger and stay healthy.
