No, I worked the press box for his home games for the past 4 years.
Presumably the high school ... not the prep school. Notre Dame high school, in West Haven.
Also, quite apart from the praise of the OP ... it's worthwhile noting Nico's prowess in lacrosse. Not unlike soccer, athletes in lacrosse tend to be explosive endurance athletes ... because of all the running involved in the sport. When you add in the productivity on the gridiron ... and the added chip on the shoulder of battling the stigma of being "undersized" ... you get a solid athlete who is willing to put in the work to prove himself.
All the above is a pretty nice set-up for a kid to contribute. Even just in recent history, we've seen how guys like Easley, McCarron, and Martin-Manley have managed to provide the Hawks with quality reps. I don't see how Ragaini couldn't put himself into that same sort of situation.
It's also worth noting that Ragaini might have an added "leg up" on the average high school graduate too ... he has an extra year of playing under his belt at a prep-school. Furthermore, he joined the Hawks during the spring ... that gives him a head start as it relates to learning the O and building chemistry with the QB and the other WRs.
