Randy Larson has passed away. (Ran the old PTL)

Loved going to the old PTL, as I couldn’t get enough basketball. Used to speak to Randy frequently.
Damn. I loved the PTL and Randy was always friendly.
I believe he even played in the early days of the PTL, along with running it and the GTL, plus often coaching one of the teams.
He also is the owner of the very excellent Monica’s restaurant in Coralville.
He looked ten years older than what he was the last time I saw him at Monica's.
Big friend of Iowa basketball and sports in general around Iowa City. I was stunned when I saw how old he looked on the Street special.
Loved going to the PTL to watch Hawk players. Was the first chance we had to see incoming freshman play. Thanks Randy' R.I.P
He really was a great person and fierce supporter of Iowa basketball. A family member worked for him for 20 years. He was very successful and shared the fruits of that success with my family member. I wish all employers treated employees the way Randy did. The world would be a significantly better place.
Prime Time League was a really big deal when he started it. Ahead of his time when he did it.
RIP. Chatted with Randy several times at Monica's over the years.
What a great guy and Hawk supporter. He would bring his rec league team down to our tourny EVERY year. Said we put on one of the best yearly events they played in. Seems like only yesterday he was tearing it up on the hardwood. I wonder what took him? RIP Randy.
