a video shows he tripped himself on the opposite side of the students...on a TV cord. No students around him.

Because that doesn't fit the clown fan argument. Then why did he go on the Dan Patrick show today and say he got pushed by fans?

He said specifically that it was not a student. He said it could have been a fan. People there said that he collided with another female reporter, or tripped on cords. The video does show that he "might" have collided with female. The strange thing about this is he was trying to beat the students across the court. He said the interview room was on the other side, so he was trying to run across the court BEFORE the students got there. Old reporters should not be trying to outsprint kids!
Big 12 has reviewed it and said no action will be taken and commended security for protecting the man on the ground, and you can see in some of the videos, people surrounded him and held hands to keep people away in a pretty quick fashion.
That's a quote. IMO, the way the student fans pound their players on the head in court rushes has potential for injury. Everyone remotely near a player wants to pat him on the head, and it ends up more pounding than patting. Saw some of that on TV tonight in the sports news. It's basketball, not football where field rushes end with pounding on helmets. Is it true that Pollard's comment about this nasty injury was, "It is what it is?
Well done, sir.Reliable source reporting he tripped on his Cyclone cheerleader skirt.
