RBY to PSU per Twitter

Damn, I love Wittlake, he's an absolute beast. I'm not as high on RBY, but if he and Stevenson are a package deal, that's a kick in the nuts. Stevenson (obviously if healthy) is a multiple time National Champ.

Looks like the arms race continues! I'm wondering if Wittlakes commitment changes things with RBY and Stevenson supposedly being a package deal

Just the opposite. I think RBY has the higher ceiling

Having RBY go to PSU hurts, as I think he has a better ceiling than Wittlake as well, but I'm not as worried due to having Lee and Teasdale. I like where we're sitting a lot in the lower weights right now. I think whoever mans the spot at 141 between Happel and Murin will also surprise some people.

I took the 'hope they are the next Altons' to mean they fizzle out in matches. Never thought of injury.
My memory is a bit hazy, did both Altons go down with injuries? I thought just Andrew did. I thought Dylan had a decent career. Obviously, neither had the careers they envisioned.

Dylan had an injury during the season that kept him sidelined senior year came back and got teched by collica and Sanderson pulled the plug

I believe he was re-injured a week or two prior to OK state dual, he looked fairly good at the scuffle, with some gas tank issues, which are to be expected at your first matches coming off of injury especially in tournament setting.

Even as a hawk fan I really liked watching the Altons. Dylan Alton and DSJ always had some good matches, and Andrew Alton was a pinning machine. When I was just getting into wrestling, they were SRs in HS and I saw a lot of them through FLO, wrestled very exciting, i even started using Andrew Altons chin whip/cement job move that he hit a lot. (The same one he hit on Montell Marion in the dual). Obviously nobody ever knows who's college careers will pan out due to injuries/other circumstances but if they had signed with the Hawks back then I would've been ecstatic lol.
