Reacher Season 3

If you watch the episodes like I do, you’ll limit your exposure. Each episode is roughly ten minutes after you fast forward through the inconsequential stuff.
I curious what you find inconsequential in a show like Reacher, which is almost all inconsequential. You have the fight scenes where he breaks people's bones and gouges their eyes out, and then some unbelievable conspiracy surrounding said bone breaking and eye gouging. I enjoy it, but that's about all it is.

Pretty sure tarpon likes it when Reacher takes his shirt off.

I keep myself disciplined to only focus on violence and gratuitous sex.

Pretty sure Ms. Traveler agrees with you. It’s the only violent tv show that is must watch tv for her…I wonder why?
I find it amusing the different lenses through which people consume the show. I look at the Reacher actor with admiration for the work and dedication it takes to look like that, and enjoy the violence and silly conspiracies of the show itself. Others view Reacher as a thirst trap and love the violence, or can overlook the violence.

Not sure how closely the series will keep to the book, but Reacher racks up one of his bigger body counts and without a doubt the most 'intense' fights across the 20+ books I've read. Should be some good action

Any sign of Roscoe? If not, I have the sads. Talk about someone I would love to wreck. Wowzers.

Neagley is getting a spinoff series. It’s currently filming in Toronto. I don’t know if there is a target date for airing yet, but I think filming is scheduled to last into June.

Here we go!
The first season was really good, had a personal angle, etc. The second season not bad but wow how a few people can take out hundreds of bad guys is starting to get questionable. And the dumbness of the bad guys who have a great plan until Reacher shows up and then the bad guys just screw up in so many ways.

So far not watching this season as the promos with the other big dude looked weird

***Spoiler Alert***

I get that the show isn’t intended to be taken seriously and requires a fair amount of suspension of disbelief. But does anyone else find it beyond preposterous that Reacher is able to climb out his window every night to go on missions without getting caught?

This house has an almost maniacal level of security but they don’t have any cameras covering the lawn? How is there not a dude sitting in a room with half a dozen video screens going “Say, isn’t that Reacher running across the lawn in the middle of the night? I’m pretty sure he’s not supposed to be doing that.”

The only plausible explanation I can come up with is that they know he’s sneaking out but they continue to let him because they don’t want him to know that they know he’s sneaking out. But even that doesn’t make sense because of the damage he’s doing to their operation when he sneaks out.
