Not being a jack*** or insulting any but remember in the Hawks defense...we were up 35-7 at one point when the dogs were called off .. Was I disappointed like all Iowa fans? Hell yes.. I wanted to see a mauling and then see them eat them alive - throw it up and do it each and every play.. There's change in the defense coming ... Not sure where but there will be a fire under their asses this week in practice.. We won.. Big ... Let's put the smoke in the mirror and look forward to next week... Hoping there's smoke and fire coming out of Hawkeyes noses and ears...

KF is never going to bury someone. Once they get up 2-3 scores it's over. He does not like to bury a program, they will go into vanilla mode and just try to get the game over.

How were the dogs called off? Sure, the defensive calls were still mostly vanilla - however, the expectation is still for the D to control the gaps against the running game and for the gaps to get filled.

If the dogs were called off - then why were the starters still in the game?
