Can current redshirts play in a bowl game and not count against 2015. Didn't Chuck Long do this. Red shirted then played in the bowl game.

No!! Chuck Long also played a snap or two in regular season. There was a rule change that got him extra year. Can't remember specifics though but players who play in Bowl game lost their redshirt year
