When Cowturd made the rant commenting that the Iowa AD can pick up the phone and schedule a higher non-conference opponent, has anyone ever mentioned to him that Iowa attempted to do that vs. Missouri. However, the Mizzou pussycats backed out of that series.

Also, somewhat of a down year for Wisky and definitely down for Nebby. I still hate the ISU series, no real upside for us. We also do not control our crossover games, that were weak but could normally include the likes of MSU, UM, tOSU or the Nittany Kittens. Not sure what he expects us to do, its not like we play no one. look at our 2010, 11, 12 and 13 schedules -

Honestly, who cares what this guy says? He has absolutely no influence what so ever on the committee or the playoffs in general. He is just running his mouth. In the long run, even if he was "right", it doesn't matter one bit, because the committee has basically told Iowa that they are in the playoffs if they do win out! Don't let this guy take away the fun of the season. We have never gotten to enjoy a season like this historically, and after the last few, it has far surpassed anything we could have expected so just continue to enjoy the ride! A wise man once told me that as long as you are getting kicked from behind, you're still out in front! 
Many of us grew up in a time when we considered these TV guys to be experts. Well, I don't know if they ever were, but they are simply not that today. They are "sports enthusiasts/entertainers".
If Tom Hanks said he thought the Hawks weren't any good, would anyone care? That's all these guys are - they like talking about sports and they have completely biased opinions. They are no different than that the guy sitting next to you on the bus, except that can tell stories better - maybe.
